Alcohol awareness event

A St. Patrick’s Day barbeque and alcohol awareness event for students will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 17 in The Pit at the University Student Union.

There will be Irish Step Dancing by Cynthia Merrill’s School of Arts, free hot dogs and non-alcoholic drinks, music and prizes. In addition, results of a new informal survey of students’ plans for spring break will be revealed.

The event is sponsored by the Alcohol Advisory Council Student Subcommittee, Associated Students, Social Norms Project, Food Services and other campus sponsors.
