McNair Program

The McNair Program is now accepting applications for 2006. The program is a federally-funded, 16-month program designed to prepare qualified students for graduate study.

Awards and benefits include $2,400 stipend, research guided by a faculty mentor, graduate application assistance and graduate education seminar series.

Eligibility Requirements: Must be a first-generation, low-income college student and/or a member of a historically under-represented group in doctorate education as defined by the United States Department of Education; must be a full-time California State University, Fresno student, possess a minimum GPA of 2.75, have completed 60 academic units as of spring 2005, and be considering graduate study.
