‘Janka’ is April 9
“Janka,” the intimate story about one woman’s will to survive the Holocaust and her desire to experience the American dream, will be presented on Saturday, April 9, at 8 p.m. in the Satellite Student Union. more

Poet to read April 28
 Krystyna Lenkowska, an emerging voice in contemporary Polish poetry, will give a free public reading Thursday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Alice Peters Auditorium. more

Portable Dance Troupe performers

Portable Dance Troupe presents ‘Strange World’
This year's concert reflects in varying treatments an interest in dance/theatre, works that are not easily categorized solely as dance works. Performance dates are April 8-9 and 12-16 at 8 p.m. and April 10 at 2 p.m.  All performances are in the Arena Theatre in the Speech Arts Building. more

The Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts and San Joaquin Valley Chapter, American Guild of Organists will present organist Christopher Young in concert on Sunday, April 10, at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall at Fresno State. more

Cervantes celebration April 11-12
 The 400th anniversary of the publication of “Don Quixote” by author Miguel de Cervantes will be observed in a two-day interdisciplinary celebration on April 11 and 12 sponsored by the College of Arts and Humanities. more
