Gerontology symposium The Fourth Annual Gerontology Symposium, Silver Images Film Festival and Student Poster Presentations will be held April 18 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Satellite Student Union. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the Student Association Gerontology Education (SAGE) and Fresno Learning Activities in Retirement (FLAIR). A variety of topics, photo images and films are featured, including the “Flowers for Charlie,” “Women of the Georgian Hotel,” “For Better For Worse, Life Stories, and Legacy” and “Portraits of Aging.” Film topics include Aging in Diverse Cultures, Healthy Aging, Intimacy and Aging, and Intergenerational Aging issues facing our increasing elder population. SAGE invites the university community to come and preview our student work and films showcasing elder issues. For more information, call the Gerontology Advising office at 8-8465, Dr. Glen C.
