Vintage Days turns 30

You Dare?  "A Walk on the Wild Side" is the theme of Fresno State’s 30th annual Vintage Days celebration, April 14 to 17. Activities include:  Boomtown Carnival, Casino Night, Concerts, Crafts Faire, Kid's Zone, and Special Events.

Since 1975, Vintage Days has been one of the largest student-organized festivals in the country.  Vintage Days welcomes approximately 75,000 people from across the country to the Fresno State campus each spring.

The tentative schedule is as follows. For more information, call 8-2741.

Thursday, April 14:

7:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.  Staff Assembly Breakfast  (Free Speech Area)
Noon Opening Ceremonies  (USU South Patio)
Pizza-Eating Contest (USU South Patio)
7 p.m. – 11 p.m. Casino Night (USU) w/Karaoke ($3 for $1,500 of play money)

Friday, April 15:

10 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Boomtown Carnival
Crafts Faire
Kid’s Zone (Arts & Crafts, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Rides)
6:30 p.m. – Midnight Salsa Night (SSU) (Students Free, $10 General)
6:30 p.m. Salsa Lessons
8 p.m. Salsa Dancing & Live Music

Saturday, April 16:

10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Boomtown Carnival
Crafts Faire
Kid’s Zone (Arts & Crafts, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Rides)
10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Live Bands (Concert Stage)
