Keyboard Concerts The Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts will present pianist Elena Bashkirova in concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6 in the Concert Hall. She will perform works by Schumann, Liszt and Bartok. Moscow-born pianist Bashkirova is both a regular guest with the world’s leading orchestras and one of today’s most distinguished chamber music players. Wife of the celebrated pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim, “she is one of the most sensitive and charismatic personalities in the exclusive league of women pianists” (Die Welt, Germany).
