Kiwanis Torch of Excellence
The Ninth Annual Kiwanis Torch of Excellence Dinner to honor more than 250 scholar-athletes will be held Monday, May 9, at 6 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Fresno. This event, sponsored annually by Kiwanis Clubs of Fresno and Madera counties, has grown each year as Fresno State student-athletes continue to achieve higher grade point averages.
KMPH sportscaster Ralph Wood will emcee the dinner. While KMPH/Fox 26 and Educational Employees Credit Union continue to be major sponsors, others can be involved by contacting Keith Kramer at 291-2947. Individual tickets for this event can be purchased for $45.
