
Station Manager Joe Moore began work at KFSR as a volunteer DJ in February of 1998. Since then he has worked on air for several local radio stations, including KVPR/KPRX (Valley Public Radio) and KTIP in Porterville. He is a graduate of Clovis High School (1996) and received a B.A. degree in History from California State University Fresno in 2000. He was hired as KFSR's first full time Station Manager in September of 2004, and currently supervises all station operations and programming. Joe also hosts a jazz program on the station, Tuesday, Wednesday mornings from 9am-12pm, where he plays a wide range of music, from Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington to the stars of today, such as Wayne Shorter and Branford Marsalis. Joe also is one of the host of the station's weekly public affairs programs San Joaquin
Spotlight which airs Sundays at 11:30am. The program features in-depth interviews with locals guests, with a special focus on the arts and cultural topics. He also maintains the JazzPortraits jazz
weblog. Joe also serves on the board of directors of JazzFresno.
