Evening Eclectic EN VIVO I (3/31/07) is a smash success!
Thanks to everyone who made Evening Eclectic En Vivo I such a great event on March 31st 2007. We had four great bands who ROCKED The Crossroads, and a capacity crowd of KFSR fans, and even people who drove in from LA, Santa Cruz and beyond. Thanks to Brazzaville, The Same Shape, El Olio Wolof, and Patrick Contreras for bringing their great music, to The Crossroads for providing the venue, to all of KFSR's staff and volunteers for making it happen, and YOU for showing up and making it a GREAT night of ROCK AND ROLL! There will be more En Vivo shows in the future, so stay tuned, you won't want to miss out!
Mike Oz of the Fresno Bee had some great things to say about Evening Eclectic En Vivo, on the Fresno Beehive blog, and has also posted four videos from the evening to YouTube. Check them out here.
The show that left Fresno talking is BACK! Evening Eclectic En Vivo returns to The Crossroads Saturday October 27th for another INCREDIBLE evening of music that you won't soon forget. This time the show features local folk rockers Aspen Hollow, rock/pop favorites The Trike Shop, funk/soul guru Nino Moschella, and indie electro-rock sensations Honeycut. Our first Evening Eclectic En Vivo in March 2007 which featured Brazzaville, The Same Shape, El Olio Wolof, and Patrick Contreras was a huge success, and this one will be even bigger and better, as we help celebrate 90.7 KFSR's 25th Anniversary! It's also Halloween weekend so come on down to The Crossroads with your costume and enjoy some SCARY grooves with Evening Eclectic En Vivo II!

Honeycut
After laying down nasty groove at the Treasure Island and Street Scene festivals, HONEYCUT will be bringin' the heat to the Crossroads' dance floor. Led by Bart Davenport, the band recently received a San Francisco Weekly award for "Best Soul/Funk Band" and their song "Exodus Honey" is getting nationwide attention as the soundtrack to the new Apple iMac commercial. PLUS they're TEARING UP the 90.7 KFSR airwaves! This will be a performance that everyone is talking about for YEARS to come!!! Honeycut's Myspace...
Nino Moschella
Gilles Peterson of the BBC's Radio One called Nino Moschella's debut album THE FIX "absolutely classic." 90.7 KFSR listeners can't seem to get enough of his blend of stanky-face funk with massive rock n' roll drums. Nino has worked recently with names like Galactic, Shawn Lee, Ladybug Mecca (of Diggable Planets) and Crown City Rockers. You do NOT want to miss this rare Fresno performance!
The Trike Shop has been a cornerstone of 90.7 KFSR playlists for years. Locally based, but with an international following, (the band recently played Liverpool) the Trike Shop's sound is characterized by strong melodies supported by an eclectic blend of instruments and thrift store oddities - such as the therimin and toy piano! They're TRUE fans of KFSR and we're excited to have them on the bill! The Trike Shop's Myspace...
Aspen Hollow
With a velvety vocal delivery that floats above elegantly structured cyclical chords, acoustic act Aspen Hollow has quickly gained a loyal following. Come out an hear what some have called "Fresno's Best Kept Secret" as they KICK OFF the second edition of Evening Eclectic En Vivo! Aspen Hollow's Myspace...
