We talk wine this week on The Flavors of the Valley with guest Ron Metzler of Metzler Family Farms, Metzler California Wines and Z Wines in Sanger. The Metzler Family has been growing wine grapes in the San Joaquin Valley for over 100 years, and in 2008 launched the Z Wines label. We also talk with Alida Espinoza, from Fresno State's student run organic farm, and learn more about the program and the benefits of certified organic produce.

Craft brews are the focus of this week's edition of The Flavors of the Valley as hosts James Collier and Tim Stearns talk with brewmaster Kevin Cox, and marketing manager Michael Cruz of Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company in Fresno. From his days at Butterfield's Brewing Company, Kevin has been an acclaimed craft brewer in the Valley, and is now launching Tioga-Sequoia with a new Downtown Fresno brewing facility. We'll find out how Tioga-Sequoia differs from their partner Sequoia Brewing Company, and learn more about three of their flagship products.
