The San Joaquin Valley is one of California's most diverse, dynamic, and rapidly changing regions. Each week San Joaquin Spotlight features in-depth conversations with guests from across the Valley who help to shape the our area's future, in a wide range of fields. The programs features everyone from non-profit pioneers, to community leaders, as well as visiting guest speakers, and more. San Joaquin Spotlight brings you closer to these individuals and their stories through the art of conversation. The program is hosted by 90.7 KFSR's Sevag Tateosian, and airs every Saturday at 1:30pm and Sunday at 11:30. Randy Cooper, Director of the City of Fresno’s Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services is back on San Joaquin Spotlight and talks to host Sevag Tateosian about the upcoming events sponsored by his department. The two also talk about the new bike tracks, parks and aquatic complexes opening in the City of Fresno.
Sevag Tateosian talks to Beth Caffrey with the Central California SPCA. The two of them talk about the affect of the economic crises on animals. They also talk about the proper care of animals in the hot summer days.
San Joaquin Spotlight is hosted by 90.7 KFSR's Sevag Tateosian. A longtime host of the station's Hye Oozh program, Sevag began hosting KFSR's weekly public affairs program in the Fall of 2006.
