This week on the program KFSR's Sevag Tateosian talks to Arche Rader, Director of the New Horizons Band and Orchestra, a 50 year-old and over group playing music as part of a class at Fresno State. The group has many members and has concerts around town. One member had not played her instrument for over 40 years until she joined the class and now plays daily.

This week on the program KFSR's Sevag Tateosian talks to Madlyn Wohlman-Rodriguez of the U.S. Housing and Urban Development's Office of University Partnerships. Ms. Wohlman-Rodriguez was in Fresno recently to talk about a new grant available to Hispanic Serving Institutions. The grant is up to 3 years and $600,000 and will be distributed in 2011.
