CSUF: Henry Madden Library

Digitization Center

The Madden Library introduces its new eCollections. This is a group of collections that has been digitized and made available though CONTENTdm, the Library’s image content management system. Included in the new Madden Library digital collections are:

  • Rare items from the Library’s Special Collections Research Center.
  • California State University Fresno theses and dissertations.
  • Items from the Arne Nixon Center for the Study of Children’s Literature.
  • Digital collections developed in collaboration with community partners.

Other collections currently are under development

The Madden Library Digitization Center (MLDC) is equipped to handle the management of information resources and services that may involve the conversion of physical items (book, article, map, poster, photograph, etc.) into digital format. The library works to build and share digital collections over the internet.

Access to the MLDC equipment and facilities is available only to Library staff at this time. California State University Fresno faculty wishing to discuss collaborative digital projects should contact Patrick Newell, Associate University Librarian for Information Technology, at 559-278-5182 or at pnewell@csufresno.edu.
