We are very excited that you are visiting our website. At California State University, Fresno, the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) prepares students who have faced or faces social, educational or economic barriers to careers in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM majors) to pursue degrees in higher education (PhD’s). Since its inception in 1994, CSU, Fresno LSAMP has served over 150 college students yearly. By providing a nurturing approach and a “home away from home,” students receive the guidance and support necessary to enroll in graduate schools to pursue their career goals.
