Additional Requirements

Passing score on the three Mathematics Subtests of the California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) (subtest numbers: 110, 111, 112). (The exams will also be used to satisfy the University Graduate Writing Skills requirement.)

Graduate Advising Notes

  1. Under the direction of the department graduate adviser, each candidate should prepare and submit for approval a program of courses as early as possible.
  2. All graduate students should obtain a copy of the Mathematics Graduate Advising Booklet for more detailed information on the program requirements.
  3. CI 250 (a Fall Course) has a prerequisite of CI 159.
