Math Field Day

Individual Awards

Individual prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals in each event. Each student will receive a certificate of participation.

• First Place: trophy, certificate, t-shirt, and TI graphing calculator donated by Texas Instruments.
• Second Place: trophy, certificate, t-shirt, and a book of puzzles.
• Third Place: trophy, certificate, and t-shirt.

Team Awards

Competition among high schools and among middle schools will be separate.

Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the school finishing first overall and to the top two finishers among each of the small, medium, and large divisions. See rules for team scoring procedures.

• First Overall: trophy, certificate, Zoomtool kit, and books of puzzles.
• First Place in each division: trophy, certificate, Zometool kit, and a book of puzzles.
• Second Place in each division: trophy, certificate, and a book of puzzles.

Adviser Awards

Certificates, mugs, Borders gift cards, and t-shirts will be awarded to the following advisers:

• Adviser that traveled farthest.
• Adviser that brought largest number of participants.
• Advisers of the first overall team (among high schools; and among middle schools).
