What is a Mentee?

Mentor and MenteeMentees are first-year students who are not participating in other university advising or mentoring programs. The overall goal of the Mentoring Institute at California State University, Fresno is to promote the retention and graduation of this group of first-year students. In order to accomplish this goal, the Mentoring Institute focuses on assigning students to Mentors, monitoring these students' academic progress and personal growth across their educational careers, and providing students with the essential tools needed to graduate from college and pursue graduate work.
