MESA, under the supervision of the California State University, Fresno College of Engineering and Computer Science, has been serving pre-college and undergraduate students since 1980.
There are two main programs within CSU Fresno MESA: The MESA Students Program (MSP) assists students at middle and senior high schools so they excel in math and science and become competitively eligible for the most rigorous colleges and universities. The MSP partners with teachers, administrators, school district officials and industry representatives to provide this academic enrichment model. MESA Engineering Program (MEP)
assists university students enrolled in colleges of engineering and
computer science so they will successfully attain their baccalaureates.
The program offers a wide array of academic support as well as exposure to
different careers available to engineering and computer science graduates.
Industry representatives who sit on Advisory Boards support and advance
the program. They serve as important resources for students through
offering career advice, providing internships and scholarships, and
introducing students to skills required within the corporate culture.
MESA is where a successful and bright future begins. |
