Chamber Singers

The Chamber Singers are comprised of about 30 select musicians from across the campus and perform a wide variety of literature, from early music to contemporary selections. They presented the world of premiere of Brad Hufft's "Prologue" in Fall A chamber singer 2006; the Monteverdi Vespro Della Beata Vergine is scheduled for May 2007. In addition to performing on four campus concerts a year, they tour every spring and they make frequent guest appearances at school and community events. Their performance credits include state conventions, festivals and even a guest appearance with country-western star Kenny Rogers on his winter tour in December 2003. They will travel to China in March 2008 for choral tribute in the countdown to the Beijing Olympics.
