Did You Know?
February 11th, 2009Fresno State’s campus has been a certified arboretum for 30 years due to its diverse trees and other landscaping plantings. The campus boasts 250-350 different varieties among its forest of nearly 4,000 trees, 600 of which have been planted since 2006. Fresno State is committed to keeping the campus shady and green, recognizing the oasis a shaded area provides on hot Fresno days.
