Thank you to all of our parents of first-time Fresno State students who braved the heat and attended Parent Welcome Night 2009! We were grateful for the chance to meet so many of you and hope that you all enjoyed yourselves! 

Fresno State’s campus has been a certified arboretum for 30 years due to its diverse trees and other landscaping plantings. The campus boasts 250-350 different varieties among its forest of nearly 4,000 trees, 600 of which have been planted since 2006. Fresno State is committed to keeping the campus shady and green, recognizing the oasis a shaded area provides on hot Fresno days.
