The Campus Police at California State University, Fresno are
committed to your student’s safety. The Campus Police offer a number of services that students are encouraged to rely upon when they need help:

SAFETY ESCORT

Radio-equipped, uniformed and trained safety escort officers are available to accompany students to their destinations on campus 24 hours a day. Students may call 278-8400 or locate an emergency phone to request a safety escort officer.

BATTERY JUMP START

Police department personnel can assist students parked on campus with vehicles disabled by a dead battery. Police staff will respond to the location and attempt to jump-start the car. If the car will not start, police will call someone to assist the party and stay with them until help arrives.

EMERGENCY PHONES

Emergency phones are located in parking lots, buildings and grounds for safety and prevention of criminal activity. The phones are yellow or clearly marked with blue lights and are linked directly to the police department for quick response.
