Mission Statement

The mission of the University Police Department is to provide a safe environment for the university community (students, faculty, staff, and visitors), and a vital healthy work environment for all department personnel.

Emphasis is placed on community policing and problem solving through continuous and new partnerships within the campus and regional law enforcement communities.

Department personnel are encouraged and supported in pursuing career, educational, and training opportunities.
