Housing Public Safety Assistants

Students residing on campus at the University Courtyard have eight (8) Public Safety Assistants dedicated to safety and assistance. Public Safety Assistants are trained in conjunction with the Residential Housing Staff in radio protocols and activity procedures.

Library Public Safety Assistants

Currently the library is closed for construction.

When the library is open, two Public Safety Assistants patrol on foot to increase safety within the building. They also serve as safety escorts for patrons of the library requesting such services.

Directed Patrol

Special attention is directed towards any campus activity that generates a large number of participants, i.e. students, staff, faculty or the community.

Traffic Operations

Traffic Operations is located in the Police Department, at 2311 E Barstow Ave, and open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
