AB 540: Assisting Immigrant Students in Pursuing Higher Education - Provides information for undocumented nonresident high school and college students seeking information about their eligibility for AB 540. It also provides advising resources for faculty and staff.
Academic Senate Committee for Faculty Equity and Diversity (CFED) - Monitors faculty issues related to equal opportunity, discrimination, and harassment; and increase campus awareness so that consistent compliance with policies and regulations is an integral part of campus operations.
African American Edge Initiative Pilot Program - A goal is to provide formal, sustainable support from the University, and specifically African American faculty and staff, to give African American students an edge—the opportunity to see that they can succeed by working hard, while never giving up their identities.
Asian Faculty and Staff Association - AFSA, founded in December 2008, is for faculty and staff interested in supporting Asian and Asian-American issues and activities on campus.
Black Faculty and Staff Association - Provides resources available not only through faculty and staff at the University but also through our students and others in the greater Black community.

Hmong/Southeast Asian Information and Resources - Information and resources about Southeast Asian cultures represented throughout the Central Valley, the state and across the nation.

Latina/o Faculty and Staff Association (LFSA) - Committed towards advocating and supporting Latina/o faculty, staff, and student issues at Fresno State.
Researchers and Critical Educators (RACE) - United by common commitments and/or research interests to actively engage intellectual and applied issues related to academic excellence in the areas of race, ethnicity, class, culture, linguistic diversity and gender.
Title V- HSI Program: Commitment to Latina/o Academic Success & Excellence (CLASE) - Provides grants to assist HSIs to expand educational opportunities for, and improve the attainment of, Hispanic students.
The Office of Human Resources - Provides workplace assistive devices and support services required by faculty and staff with verified physical, psychological and learning disabilities.
Accommodations include assistive technology, alternate formats of text, reading, note-taking, sign language interpreting and campus transportation. For more information about the Assistive Device Program, call 559.278.2364.
Research Databases - The Henry Madden Library provides a number of research databases that specifically support multicultural studies. Access to the databases is available on any campus computer, as well as from off campus for authorized Fresno State students, faculty, and staff. Databases include African American Newspapers, Chicano Database, eHRAF World Cultures, Ethnic NewsWatch, Europa World Year Book, GenderWatch, Handbook of Latin American Studies, HAPI Online - Hispanic American Periodical Index, LGBT Life with Full Text.
The Central California Center for Health and Human Service's and the Social Work Evaluation, Research, and Training Centers have successfully completed a comprehensive Diversity Training Program. In collaboration with Kay Iwata, Barbara Foster and Donna DeRoo, a three day program over the course of five months was designed. The first day-long training held was on April 17 and 18, 2012. Due to the large number of staff, the trainings were split into two to maximize participation. The second half day training was held on June 14, 2012. Each group spent four hours reviewing what they had previously learned and sharing how they had put the new knowledge into practice. The third and last training was held on August 9, 2012 in the same format as the second training. The experiences shared by the participants were very powerful.
