Help for the PSYCH10 WRC

Getting Help

Please note that your PSYCH10 instructor will probably NOT be able to answer your questions about the WRC. This is because the WRC is administered separately from the lecture portion of your class.

The PSYCH10 WRC staff are here to help you write your papers, as well as to grade them. If you are experiencing problems with the PSYCH10 Writing/Research Component, we have a number of resources available to assist you. Please follow the procedure below (in the presented order) when seeking help for any questions you may have about the WRC.

  1. Read the relevant web pages on this website closely
  2. Search the FAQ
    1. The FAQ includes every question we have ever received from PSYCH10 students. The chances are VERY high that the answer to your question is presented here.
  3. Come to your Reader's office hours
  4. Contact your Reader by email. Because of the high volume of emails that we receive, please be aware of the following notes when emailing us:
    1. We will answer every email we receive. However, it may take us some time to get to your specific email. Please give us up to a week to respond to your email. If you have not heard back from us by then, please email again.
    2. Keep in mind that we check the email account often, but not 24-7. It is likely that questions emailed to us at 11:58pm on the due date for an assignment will not be answered in time. Plan ahead and make sure you are clear on the procedures for writing your paper well before the due date!
    3. If you email us, you must include your name and Group Assignment in the body of the email. Thanks!
    4. Please be courteous in your email. We're people, too! If you are having a major problem with the assignment, the odds are good that we will be able to help you.
    5. Please email us by visiting this link and clicking on the appropriate Reader.
  5. Visit the Psychology Tutoring Center. .
