The Research Portion of the WRC

    Students are required to complete five research units during the course of the semester. These research units factor into your overall Writing/Research Component grade for PSYCH 10. The precise ways in which the research units affect your grade are up to your instructor.  A research unit may be earned by either (1) participating in a research project or by (2) writing a research critique.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MAY OBTAIN RESEARCH UNITS BY ANY COMBINATION OF THE TWO METHODS. For example, if you want to get 3 by Method 1 and 2 more by Method 2, that is ok. Alternatively, you may want to get all of your units by one method, which is also ok.

The last day to obtain Research Units (acquired by either method) is at 5 p.m. on the last day of classes ( December 9, 2009 at 5:00:00 pm PST ).
