Application is Divided into 5 Sections
The online application is divided into 5 sections and is approximately 5 pages long. While there is no absolute measurement of time needed to complete the application, try to set aside at least 30 minutes for your first visit and then if necessary, you can then return at any time to finish.
Password Protection
On your first visit you will be asked to create a password that must be at least 5-characters long. The purpose of the password is to allow you to logout from an incomplete application and return later to continue working on the same application. Before returning to your application you will be prompted to enter your Fresno State student identification number and password.
Web site Security
California State University, Fresno and Division of Student Affairs is committed to providing the latest in Internet security and data encryption services for your protection. We do not collect personal information on our web site to sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose to mailing lists.
Cut - N - Paste Personal Statements
You will be asked to provide two narrative statement describing your activities, awards, personal accomplishments, and career objectives. You can cut-and-paste information into the personal statements portion of the application from any word processor. Do not use special text formatting such as bold, italic, colors, etc., as these will not appear. Pay special attention to spelling, grammar and content as your application will be carefully reviewed by selection committees including donors, faculty and Fresno State staff.
Review and Submit Application
When you reach the Review and Submit section, we encourage you to once again review all of the information you entered on the application. Please note that once you click “Submit,” you can no longer return to the document to make changes.
Print a Copy of your Submitted Application
After submitting your application you will be directed to a page with a hyperlink from which you can print a copy of your application. This may be important to you for future reference and it is the last opportunity you will have to obtain a copy.
Application Deadline
The 2010/2011 scholarship application is available online from October 1, 2009 through February 28, 2010.
