Graduate Studies
Graduate students are a dynamic part of California State University, Fresno. We offer graduate degrees in a great breadth of fields—45 master's and two doctoral at present. Programs are offered in the traditional scholarly fields of the arts and humanities and in the sciences. We also offer a number of programs specifically geared for those in professional, practice-oriented careers—everything from education and business to health and the social sciences. You are encouraged to consider a graduate degree early in your academic career, no later than the beginning of your senior year. Many postbaccalaureate programs have early application deadlines, as well as a number of requirements--including possible standardized tests that must be fulfilled. You must also reapply for admission to the university in order to attend classes after you graduate.
