Hello! My name is Marisela Rocha I am an undergraduate student at CSU Fresno pursuing a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Construction Management. I was born and raised in Watsonville, CA, famous for its strawberries and been living in Fresno, CA. for about 4 years. I love traveling, riding horses, playing soccer, bike riding, dancing and shopping.

I have been an active SHPE member since my freshman year (2005). I have been involved by attending regional and national conferences, attending sports events within our region and maintaining continuous volunteer efforts for SHPE. I was Secretary for 2008-2009 academic year and I am the current President for the 2009-2010 academic year. I am a strong advocate of SHPE, I believe in the organization because it has influenced my decision in majoring in engineering and my professional skills.

I am extremely excited and looking forward to this academic year to work with each one of our SHPE Familia!

    The President shall represent the chapter and be responsible for all business concerning the chapter. The President shall have full power in the management and business of the chapter and shall set and establish all policy of the chapter and/or other functions or activities under the direction of this chapter. The President shall also be the official spokesperson for the chapter. The president shall also manage the other operation officers and manage the day-to-day affairs of the chapter.
