Dr. Bernadette Muscat began her career at Fresno State in Fall 2003. Dr. Muscat works with victim services, the criminal justice system, and coalitions for program/policy development and research to ensure effective service provision. She has written, presented, and trained nationwide on violence against women, child abuse, trauma response, elder abuse, victims with disabilities, workplace violence, underserved populations, and campus crimes. Dr. Muscat is the author of the book The Road to Recovery: female Addiction and Residential Treatment Centers (2009) and a co-author of the textbook CJ Realities and Challenges (2013).
