Dr. Gonsoulin has been an assistant professor since August 2005. She completed her doctorate in sociology in May of 2005 at the University of Virginia.
Areas of Specialty
Her research and teaching interests include the sociology of gender, religion and inequality and quantitative methods. Substantively, she specializes in the study of Islam in Southeast Asia. She is interested in creating a new International Program for American students in Bali, Indonesia and will be teaching abroad in Puebla, Mexico in the summer of 2007.
