Mission & Goals

Mission

The office of Services for Students with Disabilities, in collaboration with others, endeavors to promote opportunities for students with disabilities to achieve their academic, cultural and social interests by ensuring that campus programs, activities and facilities are accessible.

Goals

The goals of the office of Services for Students with Disabilities are to:

• provide support services for students with disabilities to participate in the full range of campus programs and activities;
  
• increase awareness and responsiveness of the campus community to students with disabilities;
  
• assist students with disabilities to maximize their independence and become integrated into the campus community;
  
• and increase the representation of students with disabilities in campus life.
