DOG DAYS Reservations
New students enrolling for the Spring 2016 semester will attend DOG DAYS in December. The registration system will open on October, 2015. All reservations are made online and eligible orientation dates are based on the student's major.
Deadline for DOG DAYS Reservations
Transfer students - Transfer students must complete the Accept/Decline process through your Student Center in order to make a reservation. Reservations will be taken up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled orientation date. Payments for Dog Days must be made 24 hours prior to orientation to ensure all registration holds are lifted prior to class registration.

Or, follow the steps below:
1. Log onto your student portal at my.fresnostate.edu.
a. Your username is the same as your Fresno State email without
the @mail.fresnostate.edu portion.
b. Your password is the same as your Fresno State email password.
2. Navigate to the Student Center
a. Click on Student Self-Service
b. Click on Student Center
c. Go to the My Admissions Information section (2nd green arrow)
d. Click on Dog Days Orientation
i. Freshmen must first complete the Accept/Decline process
before you can make a reservation.
Dog Days dates are determined by major. If your major of interest has changed since you applied to the university you will have the option to change your major for Dog Days purposes only. You must submit a change of major form to Admissions to make the change official.
3. When you select your session, major, and meal option. (For the spring semester orientations in December you will need to select "No Meal". The discounted rate for spring semester Dog Days does not include a meal.)
4. Once the reservation is made you will have the option to pay for your orientation. You will receive a confirmation email to your Fresno State email address. Note: Your reservation will NOT be complete until the payment has been made in full.

Dog Days Fees
First Guest: $20
Each Additional Guest: $15
Payments are to be made at the Cashier's Office in the Joyal Administration building. Students can use any of the following forms of payment: cash, money orders, personal checks and credit cards. Payment options are outlined below:
To pay online: a credit card or e-check is required. Students can log onto their student portal at my.fresnostate.edu and submit a payment through your Student Center.
To mail in your payment: make payable to Fresno State or California State University, Fresno and include DOG DAYS and your student ID number on the memo line. Mail to:

To pay in-person: cash, money order, check, and credit cards are accepted at the cashiers office in the Joyal Administration Building. The Cashier's Office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please note: There are NO refunds for Dog Days. Once your payment has been made there are NO refunds issued.
There are no fee waivers for students entering for the Spring 2016 semester. Spring semester Dog Days have a reduced fee.
The Fee Waiver application period for the summer 2016 orientation sessions is March 15 - April 10, 2016. Fee waivers only cover the student Dog Days fees. All guest fees must be paid separately.
