Who is Eligible?

Incoming freshmen students from selected high schools are invited to participate in the Summer Bridge Program. As a result of the new CSU initiative, Summer Bridge is designed specifically to provide an opportunity for a selected group of students to meet the requirements of the Early Start Program. Students will be responsible for their own transportation and school supplies.

All first-time freshmen are required to take the ELM (Entry-Level Mathematics) exam and the EPT (English Placement Test) unless an exemption is established for either or both tests. In order to participate in the Summer Bridge Program, students must take the ELM or EPT before being granted admission to the program.

Test registration information can be obtained from Fresno State Testing Services website at www.csufresno.edu/testing or by calling 559-278-2457.
