Currently, Fresno State requires all students to have a FREE Fresno State email account for the purpose of receiving all official university communication. Registration notices, add/drop deadlines, academic probation/disqualification, invoice statements, disenrollment notices for nonpayment, financial aid awards and notifications will be sent to your email. It will be very important to check your email daily. You will want to manage your information in files, perhaps saving campus communications that you may need to refer back to in a file in your mail program. CVIP offers free campus email and internet access for a fee. Click on the following link to set up your new campus email account and to learn more about internet access from CVIP: https://email.csufresno.edu/
If you are applying for financial aid you can go to My Fresno State Portal and check the status of your loan/grant. You can call the financial aid office or visit the Financial Aid office upstairs in Joyal, room 296. If you receive money by check, it will be mailed to your local address (Please make sure that your local address is listed in the My Fresno State personal information area). Checks held because of past-due accounts or incomplete registration may be picked up at the Loans and Receivables Service windows(Joyal room 156), once the reason for the hold has been resolved.
For information see web site about procedures for joining.

Purchase a semester parking permit at the Cashier’s Window in Joyal Administration during normal business hours or at the USU Information desk after 4:00 pm during Fall & Spring Semesters. The Kiosk at Maple and Shaw sells daily permits as well as various dispensers located in the parking lots around campus.
You can get information about campus safety at the Police Department Information and Safety Resources office downstairs in the Pavilion of the USU or from the Police Department office located on Barstow.

Of course they always tell you to make changes-- that’s because you keep telling them how easy it is to make them.
