At the 2008 Golden Key International Honour Society’s annual International Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana, the California State University, Fresno Chapter of Golden Key was recognized for achieving a Gold Chapter Standing. This means the Fresno State Chapter has obtained the highest reporting standard in the Society for the second years in a row.

Ashley Hedemann from the Learning Center and her husband Stephen were named “Volunteers of the Month” for the month of October at Habitat for Humanity in Fresno. On October 1, 2008, Career Services partnered with the student organization, Partnering Alumni with Students (PAWS) and the Alumni Association to put on an etiquette dinner at the University House. About 140 students and 20 alumni participated in the event. Read more… -
Lupita Carrillo is currently a 3rd year student majoring in Art, with hopes to someday become an art teacher. -
In commemoration of the National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week (NCAAW), Fresno State’s Health Promotion and Wellness Services is sponsoring the “Wicked Wellness Carnival” scheduled for October 22nd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. -
