Lupita Carrillo is currently a 3rd year student majoring in Art, with hopes to someday become an art teacher.

Lupita submitted her plan to Associated Students, Incorporated and was selected as one of four students to receive a grant and personal fee to create an art piece.

Lupita secured the permission of the CSU, Fresno Athletic Department to use the image of the Fresno State mascot, Victor, as a model for her painting. Lupita’s painting was inspired by well known pop artist, Andy Warhol.

Lupita transferred the bulldog image onto canvas as a pop art creation using bright and vibrant colors. Lupita is currently working as a Student Assistant for the Central California Education Opportunity Center and is a member of the Student Support Services program.

    Go Lupita and Go Dogs!!!
