• Student Affairs Colleagues:

As we begin another academic year, I am filled with excitement and optimism about the potential we have as a division to affect student lives and support their success. In our annual state of the division meeting on September 25th, I will have the opportunity to remind you of your accomplishments from last year and set the stage for accomplishments we hope to achieve during the coming year. I will also be noting that this will be a year of great change for our campus and also for Student Affairs. However, you have all become masters of managing change and adapting to the dynamic environment of higher education.

One of the things that is changing is the format for this newsletter. Our editor is striving to make it an information vehicle that will provide a constant update on division accomplishments, special events and key calendar dates. While it will be distributed periodically, the newsletter will also be maintained on a website that will be updated on a regular basis which you are encouraged to visit throughout the year.

While we recognize that students are our principal reason for being, you are the most important resource to help them achieve their goals. So I thank you in advance for all that I know you will do to make this a successful year for all of

    us.

    Dr. O
