About The School
There’s no doubt about this school’s impact on education in our area -- Fresno State is the largest producer of teachers in our region.
Based in a state-of-the-art building, the school’s dedicated faculty prepares and guides students who not only want to be teachers but counselors, administrators and, ultimately, leaders in the field. The school also offers one of the largest Liberal Studies programs and credential programs in the California State University system.
The school emphasizes that its students hone critical thinking skills and value diversity and ethics as they seek academic excellence in their studies and gain practical experience at valley elementary schools and high schools. Students also can learn about the latest in education technology and network with their peers and professionals through a roster of special programs and organizations.
The school also maintains and strengthens its partnerships and collaborations with valley school districts and community members through special services, such as the Bonner Center for Character Education and Citizenship and the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project.
