Graduation Information
The following information, instructions, and important dates and times are for students participating in the African American Graduation Recognition Program on May 23, 2009 at the Save Mart Center from 2 to 4 PM. Please read all information very carefully, and consult the site regularly for updates and announcements.
Participation Fee
The participation fee is $40 if paid on or before April 20, 2009. After April 20th, the fee will be $50.
The fee includes the following:
- Four (4) Program Announcements
- Kente Cloth
- Diploma Cover and Certificate
- Photograph for Program Book
- One (1) Official Program Book
Note: Checks should be made payable to the African American Graduation Program.

Graduate Schedule
Participation Instructions
The Graduate Profile Form must be typed or printed legibly and submitted by mail or in person with the participation fee no later than April 20, 2009. It is available for pick up in Joyal Administration, Room 224.
- Participation fee is $40 if filed on or before April 20th, 2009
- If filed after April 20th, 2009, the participation fee is $50
- Participation request may not be accepted after May 9, 2009
- Checks must be made payable to African American Graduation Program. There will be a $10 fee for all returned checks.
No refunds will be allowed.
Step 1. Complete the Graduate Profile Form
Two Options:
Option #1: You may complete and print the online Graduate Profile Form and email as an attachment.
Option #2: You may visit the office (Joyal Administration, Room 224)
Step 2. Submit the Graduate Profile Form and Participation Fee
You may personally deliver the application and fee to the Joyal Administration Building, Room 224. You may also mail the form to:

Step 3. Sit for your Graduate Photograph
Individual photos of graduates will be printed in the official African American Graduation Recognition Program book. You may walk in during the following dates and times.
Appointments are not available.
Dates:
Thursday, April 2, 2009 and Tuesday, April 14, 2009
Times
9:15am- 11:45am and 1:30pm- 4:30pm (both days)
Where:
Speech Arts Building, Room 182
Tips:
Graduation gown and kente cloth will be provided for photo
Accepting participation fee and graduate profile during photo session
Please dress appropriately for your formal photograph
Step 4. Attend the Rehearsal
