Academic Probation and Disqualification

Expectations of Students

  • In order to verify your academic standing. View your unofficial Transcript on your portal @ www.my.csufresno.edu. The very bottom of your transcript will state your current academic standing.

Probation

  • See your academic advisor on a regular basis (at least once a semester)

  • Attend a Maximizing Academic Potential (MAP) workshop every semester until in Good Standing.

  • Strongly encouraged to enroll in no more than 13 units

  • Improve your GPA

Disqualified Re-Admitted

A student whose academic standing is showing as "Disqualified Re-Admitted" status must obtain a 2.00 grade point average for the current term in order to continue into the next semester. 

  • MUST earn a 2.00 Term GPA in order to continue into the next semester

  • See your academic advisor on a regular basis (at least once a semester)

  • Attend a Maximizing Academic Potential (MAP) workshop every semester until in Good Standing.

  • Strongly encouraged to enroll in no more than 13 units

Disqualification

A student whose academic standing is showing "Academic Disqualification" has been disenrolled from the University.   A student who is disenrolled from the University because of academic disqualification must reapply to the University and submit an application for readmission.   Contact 559-278-2191 for more information.
