Academic Probation and Disqualification

Undergraduate students whose campus or cumulative grade point average (GPA) falls below the satisfactory scholarship level (2.00 GPA) are placed on probation or are disqualified depending on where their GPA falls on the chart below.

Students placed on Academic Disqualification at the end of a semester may either be placed on Disqualified-Readmitted standing and allowed to continue the following semester, or be placed on Academic Disqualification and will not be allowed to attend the next semester.

Note: Graduate students enrolled in master’s programs are required to maintain a minimum 3.0 postbacalaureate cumulative GPA prior to advancement to candidacy.  See Graduate Studies for more information.
