Financial aid is initially awarded expecting that students will be enrolled full time (12 units or more).

Disbursements for most programs are prorated based on your actual enrollment at the time of the disbursement. This means amounts disbursed to you are a percentage of your award amounts based on the following table:

If you receive less than 100% of your award for the term then increase your enrollment, any increase in disbursement eligibility will be made to your account automatically.

All financial aid recipients will have their eligibility recalculated based on their enrollment at census date4Students who drop units after receiving disbursements may be required to repay some or all of the aid they received.

1Teacher Credential Students are disbursed Federal Pell Grant and State Cal Grants after census date4once enrollment in eligible courses is verified.

2 Stafford loans will not automatically disburse to students enrolled in less than 12 units. *Contact the Financial Aid Office if you will not be enrolling in at least 12 units for the term.

3 Academic Competitiveness Grants and SMART Grants are disbursed after census date4once eligibility and enrollment in at least 6 units are verified.

4Census Date is the end of a term's fourth week of instruction as published in the Schedule of Courses.
