Selection of a lender can weigh as a heavy responsibility on you, the borrower.  The following information is intended to be a starting point in your selection process.  You may choose any lender who participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) regardless of whether they appear on the list below.  If you have previously borrowed through the FFELP program, we suggest you continue to use the same lender.
 
Before selecting a lender, ask yourself "What is important to me when choosing a lender?" Federal regulation determines interest rates and other provisions, however lenders sometimes offer borrowers special incentives or discounts to make borrowing from them more appealing. Keep in mind - not all incentives are the same!
