Definition of a First-Time Freshman:

1) Are currently in high school;

2) Have not earned college credit later than the end of the summer immediately following high school graduation.

California State University, Fresno is an impacted campus at the freshman level and will use supplemental admissions criteria to admit first-time freshmen for the fall 2010 semester. All first-time freshman applicants must complete and submit the CSU Application for Admission during the priority filing period (October 1 to November 30, 2009) to be considered for admission.

Apply Online

Students should apply online at www.csumentor.edu during the initial filing period, which is October 1- November 30 for Fall and August 1-August 30 for spring. Currently, Fresno State does not admit students into the summer semester.

Students who apply online have 24 hours access to CSUMentor and are able to pay for the application fee with a credit card. Fee waivers may also be granted through CSUMentor. This application allows students to apply to more than one campus with the same electronic application.
