Transfering to Fresno State
California State University, Fresno will accommodate all eligible upper division transfers who apply for admission for the fall 2010 semester by November 30, 2009.
Local Area:
The university is not “impacted” at the upper division level and has not designated a “local area” for screening of transfer applicants. All eligible applicants without regard to area of residence will be considered.
Application Deadline:
The application period for upper division transfers begins on October 1, 2009 and will close on November 30, 2009 .
For Fall 2010, Fresno State WILL NOT ACCEPT any lower-division transfers. If, at the time you will enter the CSU, you have completed 59 or fewer semester or 89 or fewer quarter units and are not one of the above listed majors, you are a lower-division transfer and you must continue at the community college until you have met the Upper-Division requirements.
Apply Online
Students should apply online at www.csumentor.edu during the initial filing period, which is October 1- November 30 for Fall and August 1-August 30 for spring. Fresno State currently does not admit students for in the summer.
Students who apply online have 24 hours access to CSUMentor and are able to pay for the application fee with a credit card. Fee waivers may also be granted through CSUMentor. This application allows students to apply to more than one campus with the same electronic application.
