Fresno State will begin accepting applications for the fall 2010 semester on October 1, 2009.  October 1 through November 30, 2009 is the CSU priority filing period for the fall 2010 semester for all application categories.  Fresno State is impacted at the freshman level. 

The university will accept applications for the fall 2010 semester in the categories listed below.  Applicants must apply for admission by the deadline listed.
 

First-Time Freshmen*: November 30, 2009

Upper Division Transfers: November 30, 2009

Credential Applicants: November 30, 2009

Returning Students: March 1, 2010**

Graduate and Doctoral Applicants : April 1, 2010**

Closed Application Categories:

The university will be closed to applicants in the following categories:  lower division transfers, second baccalaureate, and Postbaccalaureate unclassified applicants.  Applications from non-matriculated "transitory" students including CSU visitors and concurrent enrollees will not be accommodated.

*Freshman Admission Requirements:

The campus is impacted at the freshman level and will utilize supplementary criteria for admission.  Students from the CSU, Fresno-designated Local Area will be admitted if they meet minimum CSU admission requirements.  Students from outside the Local Area will be ranked based on eligibility index (combination of high school gpa and test score) and admitted on a space available basis.  For information regarding freshman admission, Local Area schools, and required SAT or ACT test scores, please visit the Admissions website after October 1, 2009 at:  http://www.csufresno.edu/are

Upper Division Transfers:  Applicants must satisfy all admission requirements by the end of the spring 2010 semester/quarter.

Students interested in enrolling for fall 2010 can apply online at:  http://www.csumentor.edu.  All students are encouraged to apply early.  The campus will be on administrative furlough from Wednesday, November 25 through Monday, November 30 and staff will not be available to respond to inquiries or assist applicants.
