DMHello, my name is Desi Molyneux and I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself, I serve as the Outreach Counselor for the Jordan Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (JCAST) at California State University, Fresno. I am pleased to see that you are interested in our exceptional programs. The Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology offer a wide variety of majors in Agriculture Education, Animal Science, Industrial Technology, Viticulture, Enology, Food & Nutrition Sciences, Child Development, Family & Consumer Sciences, Agricultural Business and Plant Science with a variety of options in each major. We are proud to offer the highest quality of education in the various agricultural disciplines.

Recently the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology was given the largest cash gift in the history of the California State University system, at 29 million dollars. This gift will help with the college mission of dedication to improving the environment and the quality of life through education, research, and public service in the areas of agriculture, food, technology, and the family. The college provides undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs which emphasize problem solving, basic sciences, up-to-date technology, and business management techniques.

Here in the middle of the world’s richest agriculture region, the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology thrives in an abundance of knowledge and opportunity. On campus and throughout the community, opportunities abound to learn science, technology and management by experience – from our 1,011 – acre on-campus University Agriculture Laboratory to our Child Development Laboratory to our on-site industry projects, a breadth of internships, and much more are waiting for you to explore.

Lastly, as your Outreach Counselor, I will gladly assist you with any questions you might have regarding eligibility, transcripts, academic programs, department contacts, scholarship information, and important upcoming events.
