Starting a New Club

The University, through the Student Involvement Center, officially recognizes Fresno State clubs and organizations. Starting a new club is a process that requires the participation of the new club and the Student Involvement Center as outlined below:

  • Find a minimum of 8 currently enrolled Fresno State students that are interested in the club being created
  • Find a Fresno State faculty or staff member who is a state employee (not auxiliary) hired on a half-time or more basis that would be willing to serve as the club's advisor
  • Identify a club president and treasurer for the organization that meet the minimum academic qualifications and unit requirements
  • Create and submit a club Constitution (A Constitution Template is available once you begin the application process)
