Study Abroad

Semester Programs

Although some colleges within Fresno State offer semester long programs to London and Australia/New Zealand for their students, the most popular semester programs are offered through the University Study Abroad Consortium. Catalogs for the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters and counseling are available in Room 111, Family and Food Sciences.

Year-Long Programs

Programs that involve spending both the Fall and Spring semesters abroad are available through the California State University system(CSU-IP). Although somewhat more demanding in terms of qualifications, these programs are very prestigious. Special pre-departure orientations are held in either San Francisco or Los Angeles, and the programs draw students from all 23 campuses of the California State University. Fliers for individual countries and counseling are available in Room 111, Family and Food Sciences.

Student Exchanges

Several opportunities exist for students from Fresno State to study at one of the sister universities under exchange agreements. Currently, Fresno State has active student exchange programs with the following sister universities:
